 About the Role

As a Water Specialist Technician, you will play a vital role in operating our water and wastewater treatment plants, conducting laboratory analyses, and ensuring our processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

What we are looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in water and wastewater treatment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or A1 in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Water and Environment Engineering.
• Languages: Proficiency in English and/or French.
• Personal Qualities: Ability to work under pressure and a strong spirit of teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze samples from water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Conduct laboratory tests to ensure water quality and compliance with environmental standards.
• Accurately record and document analysis results.
• Report any deviations from standard parameters for prompt corrective action.
• Prepare reagent solutions and manage chemical supplies for laboratory procedures.
• Monitor and control chemical usage, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Operate and monitor treatment plant systems for optimal performance.
• Calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure reliable results.
• Uphold 5S standards to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
