The Department of Human Resources would like to inform its estimated staff and the Public of opportunities for the position of Truck & forklift driver.

Job Requirements:
- Hold a Rwandan driving license categories C, E, and F.
- Have at least two (2) years of professional experience in driving trucks and operating special machines such as forklifts.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Be in good physical and health condition.
- Must be able to speak and understand English or French.
- Must demonstrate team spirit, integrity, and the ability to work independently.
Main responsibilities
- Deliver goods while operating a truck, sometimes across districts or rural areas.
- Load and unload finished goods and empties using a forklift.
- Record the quantity and type of cargo being delivered.
- Drive long distances safely and efficiently.
- Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip and report any defects.
- Follow proper procedures in case of an accident.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs.
- Keep the truck and related equipment clean and in good working condition.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to clients.
- Submit trip reports/logs to the line manager after each trip.
