Job Summary

SBL is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Event Warehouse and Asset Manager to Coordinates the event warehouse, assets and inventory, ensuring equipment availability, maintenance, logistics coordination and timely support for operational procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, record, and properly store event materials, equipment, and other assets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all event warehouse assets.
  • Monitor the issuance, return, movement, and condition of assets.
  • Reconcile physical stock and asset records in the ERP system.
  • Coordinate the preparation and timely dispatch of assets and materials for events.
  • Receive returned assets and assess their condition for damage, loss, or required maintenance.
  • Report and document damaged, missing, or defective assets.
  • Ensure the proper labeling, organization, and secure storage of all warehouse items.
  • Conduct regular stock and asset counts and support periodic inventory audits.
  • Ensure compliance with FIFO principles, workplace safety requirements, hygiene standards, and applicable warehouse procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports on asset movements, stock levels, losses, damages, and warehouse activities.
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff and casual workers, where applicable.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure the timely availability and return of event assets.

Key Competencies and Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Sound knowledge of inventory and asset management principles.
  • Experience using inventory management systems, preferably ERP systems such as Sage X3.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reconcile physical assets with system data.
  • Experience in supervising and coordinating teams.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety, FIFO principles, and hygiene standards.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High integrity, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically fit and willing to work nights, weekends, and public holidays when required.
